Will Filip even fight him without a belt in play? He fought a completely bs guy on one of the Saudi cards already cuz hes #1 & don't wanna risk an L it seems like. Filip is kinda meh to me. And I kinda get him waiting for a belt fight if I was on his team. Hes at risk of losing to a lot of mfers (I thought Human Turtle Zhang beat him ffs). Ig if AJ gets him big money he might take it.

      It makes sense.

      Every else is tied up.

Yes. Hrgovic is the highest ranked guy available. Zhang, Parker, Usyk , Fury are tied up for 2024.

I think Joshua fights Hrgovic for vacant IBF belt this summer, after first Fury - Usyk fight.

Parker beat Wilder and Zhang but nobody is talking like he should be next for Usyk or Fury.
That’s not how boxing works. Ngannou never fought a single boxer ever, yet just had fights against Fury and AJ. It’s a business and what makes most sense is what makes the most money, whether we like it or not.

Hrgovic -Joshua for vacant IBF belt makes full of sense.

If Joshua can beat Hrgovic and become IBF world champ, he will be in better position in negotiations for fighting Fury -Usyk winner.

Why doesn't he fight the other guy who Is box office poison, Frank Sanchez.

Gets rid of one of them at least.

That would be great, but I think Sanchez is more risky than Hrgovic.

I see nothing wrong with AJs opponent selection last year and the fight now with Ngannou. Franklin was an okay fight after back to back losses, he was intended to fight Whyte afterwards but had to face Helenius instead. Not great fights, but at least he was active and winning. The Wallin fight was a real fight though. Even if AJ knew him well, Wallin was coming off a good win against Gassiev, and after Parker upset Wilder and Ngannou embarrassed Fury, fighting Ngannou just made sense.

Now he needs to resume his journey towards the championship and with Fury & Usyk tied up, fighting Hrgovic for the IBF title (or some sort of eliminator/interim/whatever) is the next logical step.
AJ is good, but we have seen his best vs. Usyk who easily beat him and vs. a prime and in shape Ruiz KO'd him.

Hrgovic will defeat him if the they fight.

AJ prolly gonna fight Big Car******* Baby Jarrell Miller next.

Little risk and big reward in shutting the fat cünt's mouth up for good.
