  • Please no More MMA fighters hit/kick harder than boxers.

A MMA guy with an iron chin who could take anything in a cage was shot in the brain by a boxer's right-hand bullet and went to sleep.

The difference was clearly shown in the precision accuracy speed that turns granite into glass.

Boxers punch harder and also take a better shot because of their stance, leverage and the whip they generate as they uncoil from the feet all the way to the off button on the end of their fist.

One boxer ****ed him up, another boxer couldnt put a dent in him over 10 rounds.

It isnt an all or nothing thing.

I said then Tyson is a very poor yardstick, which showed to be true, the point here is Francis was granite in the cage and glass when chin checked by a puncher that hit the button.

Obviously hes never been punched as hard in the UFC as AJ punched him, that would probably ring true for most of AJs opponents in boxing as well though. Hes a big puncher in the sport of punching.

I do still think Ngannou has (well...it maybe more "had" now) a good chin, but basically zero defence against what AJ was throwing. Its not like he ate that many big shots in MMA, Stipe cracked him pretty good but Stipe definitely does not hit like AJ. Other than that most of his fights were over very quickly.

Yet you people were rooting for the MMA guy to win. Let's be consistent next time.

When we spoke I tried to explain how a boxers punch is different, its like a high powered bullet and puts the lights out, as Francis said he didn't feel a thing, precision punching is what boxers train to do, MMA guys stand differently and generally don't generate that sort of power, its just different and AJs shot was that perfectly executed, I said all along AJ was going to hit him harder than he has ever been hit before because he wont see it coming.

Fury is not near the puncher AJ is, and AJ is at his peak right now. Fury didn't train for Francis, whereas AJ was all business.

I dont disagree with you on any of that. Its common sense.

Just I seemed to get a lot of disagreeing at that time, somebody said Francis wont be slept because he took everything in the cage and was never hurt, today's right hand could not be a better example of reality.

All good, I really like MMA as well its just different, I think AJ will do the same to Fury if they fight, for me I was never high on Fury.
