Same reason that Crawford is chasing lightweights, super lightweights, jr. middleweights, middleweights and super middleweights.

The only reason Eubank did this is because of Crawford ducking Boots to chase a super middleweight. That's the ONLY reason Eubank even cares.

According to NSB, Boots "brings nothing to the table".

Let's hope this is fake news. Bad look for boxing, if it happens!

Who? Crawford is chasing Canelo. Fighting Eubank makes some sense in that regard.

Lets be honest, Benavidez offered Canelo 60 million. Ennis offered Crawford nothing and that's the difference.

I'm not feeling this at all! Tszyu, Ortiz Jr., or Jermell Charlo, makes sense, but not Eubank Jr.???

I'd prefer if Crawford went up and fought Janibek, but I don't think TC likes that risk:reward proposition.

If the Saudis decide to throw big money at a fight then it probably happens. But aside from that it just seems like more misleading attention-seeking from Eubank. The Janibek fight is there for him so he needs a distraction, he'll be publicly talking about unrealistic big names fighters around his weight for another month or two, and then fight a random B level guy instead.

Chris Eubank Jr believes he's highly regarded. Highly regarded knucklehead. I mean look at this:
