So he's being an actual professional boxer now and doing what other professional boxers do this stage in their careers?
Cool.Comment

Jake Paul is the best Puerto Rican fighter in the men’s game right now. Let’s be honest here Canelo is ducking.Comment

Nobody is respecting canelo, including himself. This man better chill. Respect the fact that he's at least fighting boxers and working his way up slowly, but Canelo already let it be known that his name value and the money he brings with it don't mean anything to him. Canelo got all that he has and the respect that and got it the hard way. Paul wouldn't be ready to take on Canelo even in his next life. But if he keeps doing the right things and taking his craft seriously, he can get the respect as a boxer that he's looking for.Comment

Jake Paul is a cherry picker! Waits for Canelo to get old and faded and afraid of his mandatories and then calls him out!
Still, it makes financial sense, but I think "The Problem Child" is too big and strong and destructive in Round 1 for Canelo to be able to hang with him, so he'll probably just duck like he always does.Comment

The folks that don't respect Canelo aren't real boxing fans. Everybody has his name in their mouth and are waiting on him to pick them for a reason. He is the king of the sport whether you/they like his decisions or not, but the king always does what the king wants. He's paid the cost to be the boss. Would love to see him fight Benavidez like everybody else(bc that's what the hate is all about), but if he doesn't it is what it is. His legacy is sealed, signed and delivered already.Comment

He will be judged by his actions, not by your words. He's resume will be shredded to pieces and the false idol will be exposed. No hate should be involded only his deeds for all to see. He's a fraude, a bully and a coward. He's destroying his own legacy, which was not much anyway. When people, 10 years from now, if somebody still remember him, read what kind of opposition he faced, and see he never beat a World level boxer and ran from benavidez who ran from Morrell jr, what do you think they're going to say? He was better off playing for a Soccer team if he liked to run that much. No elite wins no legacy. And you that condoned this behavior, you're not a true fan. You're a fanboy, millennials perhaps?
