I agree, he had to intervene in that moment. My argument is that he stopped it instead of giving him a standing 8 count which would have got him to win on the score card still. Though it's also to say that while not being in the moment where you're looking to protect a fighter.

It's crazy that he wasn't allowed to wear a brace on his knee. I guess that some commissions allow it and some don't.
He was never really hurt imo
He just couldn’t stand on it , imagine torn LCA plus the bum knee

Is Bradley friends with Ford and his team? I have to assume so. Bradley isn't great but usually does a decent job. Khomaltov was obviously winning the fight by four or five rounds, he was outlanding and landing the bigger punches. Ford's corner knew well he needed a KO to win, kudos to Ford for going out in the 12th and taking the risk and hurting Khomaltov.

Stoppage was iffy for me, Khomaltov was running but if could have been a standing 8. Regardless, Bradley was terrible and obviously pulling for Ford and not commenting fairly at all.

    Dramatic fight. Great win.
Beforehand, the Uzbek was over-confident. Ford was humble.

Ford adjusted after 3-4 rounds. Went southpaw, started walking forward making Uzbek go backwards.
Went to the body often. Uzbek couldn't adapt, had no Plan B. New coach, new corner - not a good idea.

Good win. Will follow Ford from now on.

It it were the other way around, Ford would have hugged, spit his mouth piece, take a knee, etc. Nothing wrong with that but Kholmatov who trains with Mexicans, has that warrior mentality in him. Also, the ref would not stopped the fight if Ford was the one in the ropes, itīs all about protecting the Afro fighters.
warrior mentality??? when does a warrior turn his back to his opponent? that's surrender.

He ran to the ropes? Not backed towards the ropes, but "ran to the ropes." What part of boxing is that?

Terrible stoppage. As it happened I saw the knee give out. He wasnt as hurt as it looked. He was stumbling on a bum knee. Kholmanov was also winning almost every round. I thought this was the most bias Ive ever heard Bradley. I was getting angry how unfair he was to Kholmanov. With Kholmanov winning clearly he would say things like what I see is a guy whos arms are getting tired, Ford wants him to hit him like this so he can start to dominate in the second half, always amplifying Fords punches with OHHH, and ignoring Kholmanov's. Then when K lands he says those were grazing punches etc. It went on all fight.

edit:and I dont hate Bradley, but the call made me angry

I'd honestly like to see a rematch but I'd say it's improbable
