I'm thinking the opposite. I think Dirrell will try to stink the place out by jabbing and moving, potshotting, and countering.

Saw it just now, absolutely hilarious. Didn't bother to read that thread for ages, thought his words must surely have been taken out of context, but nope....he's comparing himself to Hearns/Hagler/SRL

I think Carl ****s about when he's giving interviews to British media outlets. I remember recently him telling Look North that he was gonna use head movement and slickness like PBF does. Ahahahaa.

He probably thinks they don't know ****, so he can hype himself up.

Carl reminds me of Haye. Hilarious **** talker, but knows that he's taking the piss a little.

I still want Dirrell to win, though.

Boxing clinics can fun too. And even if Dirrell does that, he's still vulnerable enough for Carl's hunting of him down to be compelling.

These can not be true, i like Carl because he doesn't say ridiculous things like this.

I've watched alot of interviews with Carl and he always engages his brain before opening his mouth, unless i see some video footage of these words coming from his mouth i won't be believing them.

Think he realises that Leonard is one of the best p4p fighters of time.

I thought so too, thought it was a bitter Calzaghe fan twisting things.

            However;

It's there in black and white. You can't really twist those comments, he's saying he could hang with Hagler, SRL, etc.

I think he knows he's talking ****e though.

Oh no doubt. The question marks over his chin will make the fight interesting and clinics are beautiful to watch, but if Dirrell fights like I think he will, the Trent FM and a lot of fans won't be happy about it.

People should stop thinking boxers actually say any of what's attributed to them in most of these press releases.

Watched a bit of Dirrell and am impressed. Fast-hands decent pop. But is hittable and has been put down by goes who don't hit half as hard as Froch.

I'm more interested to see how Froch copes with Dirrell's shots than vice-versa. I'm just expecting one day that Carl just gets stretched out. As good as his chin is he gets hit absolutely clean. Maybe one day he'll catch one sweetly and even he won't be able to shake it off.

That said I'm fairly certain Dirrell won't be able to take to many big-punches from Froch or he will be stopped.

                  Compelling.

You still think if Dirrell didn't use plently of lateral movement and got involved in a toe-to-toe scrap like Pascal he'll probably be the one who get KTFO.

Me too. I expect Carl to get knocked down early at some point, Dirrel punches faster and in more combinations than Taylor. Froch's chin is granite, but getting hit flush by big, talented 168ers is not something you can walk through like you can at say, Welterweight, like Margarito does.
