Maybe. I saw him enter a press conference promoting the fight with a hilarious strut, followed by a dramatic pause as he looked around, nodded his head to himself, then resumed the strut.

He probably has lost the plot a little post-Taylor. But it's funny as ****, so I don't mind.

I'm more interested to see how Froch copes with Dirrell's shots than vice-versa. I'm just expecting one day that Carl just gets stretched out. As good as his chin is he gets hit absolutely clean. Maybe one day he'll catch one sweetly and even he won't be able to shake it off.

That said I'm fairly certain Dirrell won't be able to take to many big-punches from Froch or he will be stopped.

      Compelling.

You still think if Dirrell didn't use plently of lateral movement and got involved in a toe-to-toe scrap like Pascal he'll probably be the one who get KTFO.
Lateral movement is essential in this fight for Dirrell. After every combination he throws, and when moving around in general, he needs to move to Froch's left, keeping Carl off balance and reaching with the right.

If he backs up in straight lines, he could very well get chin checked.

When I get finished with Froch he'll have a look in his eyes as vacant as the title he won

The breaking of altitude camp is way too late. He will be tired when he enters the ring come saturday.

This just might make me bet real money on Froch. Direll is gonna be kayoed.
Do make that mistake...Dirrell will be good to go for Saturday, it will be a pot shotting fight in favor of Dirrell. He will make the fight extremely boring to reserve energy before doing something ******.

We know Dirrell is gonna dominate the opening rounds, we know Froch's chin is gonna get tagged repeatedly (he may even go down), we know Dirrell is gonna use lateral movement to throw Froch off. But what we don't know is whether Dirrell has the stamina, heart and chin to hold of Carl in the second half of the fight. And we won't know until the fight is over.

I re-watched the Taylor fight, and as much as he was getting outboxed, Carl did land some sneaky punches from round 3 onwards. And Dirrell has a habit of throwing with abandon and neglecting defence when he's on top.

If I was to be pushed into a prediction, I would say this fight might going the way as Juanma Lopez's fight last night, with Dirrell having the round from hell in the 12 after building up an early lead, and somehow miraculously holding on. But still losing on the cards.

            Potentially great fight, mad excited.
            Good post dude!

Froch will put on a boxing masterclass with his new Mayweather inspired defence and Hearns like boxing ability.

The only way Froch could beat Dirrell is to overpower him and knock him out. The funny thing is this kid Dirrell never gas like Taylor did and has the ability to outbox Froch from 1 to 12 rounds not to mention the speed advantage he has. I see it coming Dirrell will beat the odds. After this fight many people here will pick Dirrell to finish first in the super six.
