Oh yeah I remember this. He was right on the cusp of a title shot and he just got railed by Helenius.Honestly I am surprised he made it that far considering he had zero defense.

Kownacki was on his way to a money fight before the Helenius disaster. He was even offered the Joshua fight in the US for some millions of dollars from what I remember. I guess he was too enamored with the PBC promise of reaching the moon and the stars. Much like Luis Ortiz. Millions of dollars they rejected that they could still be using now. Felt sorry for Kownacki's wife who was seen on a video lamenting their financial struggles.

Yeah, instead of fighting Joshua and Chisora, he has chosen losing to Helenius twice.

Time ****ing flies man. Feels like less than a year ago that the guy was viewed as pretty legit and in line for a Wilder fight.

Boxers should be able to sue their opponents for assault when their opponents cheat.

Kownacki was already done but the Cusamano fight completely cracked that chin. He's damaged for life off that fight.
