Brandun hasn't looked the same since getting clocked by Madera. I don't know how much of that got in his head, but he needs to get past it.

Signing Stanionis for MR would be great but only if they can get Boots as well or if they can make Stanionis-Giyasov for the full WBA title first.
Beggars can't be choosers, and both Benn and Stanionis are between a rock and a hard place. It would be a great fight, and a test of mettle for Benn. So much time was wasted on Eubank Jr., and he's seemingly regressed due to the inactivity. He needs a serious opponent in front of him, and Stanionis must be ready to bite someone's head off.

I was wondering the same thing. Like a lot of PBC guys he's inactive. Caleb plant is also inactive as is Danny Garcia and many others

His fight after Madera was a tune up guy, Deigo Luque, someone that would make sense if Brandun was 7-0, not 27-0. Also it has to be noted that Deigo was on a 7 fight lose/draw streak when he fought Brandun. Brandun's last fight was against Campo who was just knocked out by Teofimo and has a respectable reocrd but iirc Brandun struggled in that fight. I think that Madera shot made him gunshy and hesitant. To be fair, I think that Madera shot would've knocked 99% of the division out and big credit for Brandun to will himself up and win, but I think that punch gave him a little PTSD.

that's probably why the fight looked harder than it should for brandun... his opponent came in with nothing to lose but everything to gain.. it usually happen when top fighters face lower level fighter... im gonna be honest here, brandun may be 27-0 but who has he fought tho??? it's not like brandun is on Inoue's level and then struggling against guys like Diego... brandun himself aint proven either! he's 27-0, but he has fought all low level fighters. like i said on my last post, if brandun wants to accomplished more, he needs to get with a real trainer. his pops can only take him so far but to get to the next level, he really need to go get with a real boxing trainer and not just train out of his garage.

RIP, the real Brandon Lee. Probably the greatest action grunge movie of the 90s.
