Roadblock has taken up the mantle of defending Floyd's honour to the death.

I happened to watch Floyd - Manny again recently and was struck with how much "ooooh" and "aaaah" there was from the British commentary about Floyd's "movement". I am not denying he won, but the lack of meaningful scoring shots was striking. This was a consistent theme throughout his career, not to mention the persistent fouling, particularly use of his elbows, holding and pushing the opponent's head down so as to avoid close exchanges.

I think there was a media and judging bias towards Mayweather due to him being a high profile American and looking more like what an alleged "master boxer" was supposed to look like. Amazing athlete, but a fighter he was not.

Boxing is still suffering with this American "technical boxer" bias now in my opinion.
