They out for blood for what he did to Yamanaka. The Japanese don't play about their own. For some reason I feel that if Nery doesn't find a way to get Inoue's respect early, Inoue is gonna try to carry him to put a beating on him as long as he can. Nery is a true villain in Japan and the level of disrespect he showed by popping dirty and missing weight against Yamanaka was not taken lightly over there. They want his head fr. Lol

Yes but Yamanaka was sizzling at that time -- undefeated and 12 defenses of the WBC belt, including Vic Darchinyan, Anselmo Moreno, and Liborio Solis.

This is something I only remember being mentioned once. Nery should absolutely come out in a Darth Vader outfit and own the moment. Why not? No one has him lasting in this match, and at least he could make some headlines and make himself a little more marketable win or lose.

And God's left would have beaten a clean Nery's ass.

Might as well play the heel to fullest. Despite most folks not giving him much of a chance against Inoue(more due to Inoue being in rarified form), he is still a very dangerous opponent whose southpaw with heavy hands that can change a fight at any moment. This should be a hell of a fight while it lasts.
Yup Mexican vs Filipino, Puerto Rican, Thai or Japanese fighters are always entertaining to watch and end up in slugfests but Inoue is more technical so a lesser chance of that to happen
