I think Mosley would of gone through Castillo like wet paper.

He didn't beat JLC in my opinion either. Had Casamayor ahead by 2. Don't have a problem with anyone who though JLC won though.

Oscar did beat them both, long before Mosley did.

El knows this D. As pointed out by Gambler, SSM's LW reign was spectacular in the sense that he was knockin everybody out, but not cuz he had the strongest crop of challengers. Not to say he faced all stiffs, but this question was a no contest. Temible's LW res>SSM's by far.

Castillo fought the better opposition. You could argue that Mosley looked better at LW but I imagine Castillo too would have looked like quite a destroyer against Holiday, Molina, Leija and Golden Johnson.

Mosley has proven himself a better fighter overall but his LW run really wasn't that amazing.

Not gonna call out any names but someone (30 mins ago) said Shane should rank above JLC @ LW.

IMO I thought Molina beat Oscar. I had Molina winning a close fight.

Who said that? You mean this thread was a response to someone El? In that case, good job. I missed that one homey.

Castillo's RESUME destroys Mosley's. He fought Casamayor, Corrales TWICE (though he cheated for the rematch) and Mayweather TWICE. All three of those guys have been on the pound for pound list. That's a better resume than a lot of guys face in their entire careers.

Just looking at the current top 10 pound for pound, his resume is better than tons of guys'. It's better than Pavlik's, Dawson's, Cotto's and Vazquez' for sure.
