He wants to fight jermall charlo. I didn't see the same energy from canelo when jermall was in his previous weight divisions (154 and 160 ibs respectively), was more active and beating guys more handily than what he is doing now after all of his mental issues, inactivity and other struggles involving his family. Canelo is a vulture that preys on the weak, and he knows jermall is not the same and that he could get him now. He wants no smoke with benavidez and morell jr. He doesn't seem keen on a rematch with bivol after saying that he wants revenge. At his point, he is not going to fight anyone and he might as well call it quits if he keeps going this direction. Screw him.

Not true. He wanted 35 mil for charlo and only wanted to fight charlo. He turned down more than 35 mil to face Benavidez on more than one occasion. It’s pretty obvious canelo is all about low risk/high reward and PBC wasn’t going to shell out more money to pay for his trash opponent selection.

Benavidez and all his windbag fanboyz. He matters not. Not a legacy fighter. And unknown among casual fans. As for Canelo, at this juncture it is about the money. The possibility of a 100 million dollar bought, eventually against Benavidez. That presupposes Benavidez doesn't get his brains beat out by Bivol or Beterbiev - though Beterbiev is soon headed to the retirement home. But, Boxing is a brutal sport and if you can profit immensely, which Canelo has lock on, best to do so.

Correct! Someone finally told Canelo to his face that YOU ARE NOT FLOYD PPVWEATHER SIR! I'm quite certain that Al fully expected him to fight his toughest fighters when he signed that 3 fight deal. Not select a JMW on a two year layoff with the first fight. A disturbed drunk with the second. And then probably pick a WW in Bud Crawford with the 3rd. Hopefully it was Amazon that told Haymon HELL-2-DA-NAW and suggested that he go back to Dazaster and get paid 50 mill to fight lesser opponents for no profit. Do you not recall that canelo turned down 45 mil last yr to fight Benavidez and then reports last week say he turned down 55 mil. Money isn’t the issue, the threat is. Reynoso all but admitted that in an interview last week. Munguia in May and Berlanga in Sept. It’s really quite sad how canelo is going out after telling everyone for yrs how he wants to face the best. He’s out here picking unproven hype jobs.

So he turned down 45 mil and a year later 55 mil... so you're basically proving my point. That the fight is bigger and the bag gets fatter as time goes by. Look, if canelo don't take the fight in September, imma call it a duck, but if he eventually fights benavidez before he hangs them up, then I'll give them both props for making the fight happen. Will you? Or what would you say if say the fight with canelo and Benavidez doest happen until 2025 and beyond? Because age isn't on canelos favor so waiting longer benefits David more so then it does canelo amirite?

Canelo left Matchroom because they had no more pizza drivers for him to fight. He wants the easiest fights for the most money. If he goes back to Matchroom all they have left is an underachiever in Berlanga. I’m sure Canelo like most PBC fighters was only on a fight to fight deal with Uncle Al, and when Al wanted him to face Benny and David Morrell, Canelo crumbled like a worm in the tequila bottle. Only foolish DAZN is willing to play his game. Stop enabling this burrito.
