What contract agreement did they break? Not wanting to pay for a bum charlo fight? Why did Canelo not accept that and fight Benavidez instead? The coward ran away to fight dazn bums.DClefthook likes this.

Two orgs should call Benavidez as mandatory and two orgs should call Morrell as mandatory. That would really corner Canelo and finally draw a line in* the sand.
WBC have been on a charm offensive with Canelo ever since the whole original GGG debacle when Saul had a lawsuit to battle and WBC practically handed Golovkin the belt.
Canelo then ripped sulamain and claimed he’d never hold the wbc again, ever since that day Mauricio set out to capture Canelo and never let him go. It’s disgusting.Elastic Recoilz

You're acting like him leaving PBC all but kills the Benavidez fight, which isn't true at all. If anything, I think him leaving gives the fight a better chance of happening because now team Canelo are in a position where they can demand more money to make the fight as opposed to going by what he was due to earn with the previous contract with PBC which was 30-35 mil per fight for 3 fights I believe.
They were on the same network. Same division. Both fit and ready for may 4, the circumstances were perfect to make the fight. Now Benavidez has moved up. Canelo has left PBC and you think the fight will still happen? lmao.

If Canelo fights Mungia in May and then Benavidez in September, all will be forgiven. It's actually a great business decision. More hype but any talk of Berlanga is nonsense. Let him fight a top 5 guy first. I am actually looking forward to Canelo/Mungia. I always thought Mungia was a bit of a weight bully earlier in his career but he keeps winning, has heart, and his fights are never boring!MaksBox likes this.

There's only so many fights that Canelo can realistically make that move the needle. David has youth on his side, now he just needs to stay disciplined.

He was offered 55m for Benavidez, it was a gold mine fine, Benavidez accepted the 5m offer from Canelo and they ran away. He proved he does not want to fight him, there were no money issues holding it back. you are totally in denial and delusional. That fight was never going to happen. Canelo thought he could fight cherry picks for easy money.
