Inactivity kills. Literally. Look at Vernon Forrest. That should be a lesson to everyone. If he fought a couple more times, the WBC wouldn't have to strip him of his belt. He would've gotten the Pacquiao payday if he had been more active. Instead, Pacquiao and Margarito fought for a vacant belt and some trash hoodlum shot and unalived Forrest for the $50 bucks in his wallet.
Is the welterweight division dormant?

Lol it's trash. A sure sign is that if a bum like Barrios is a top 3 guy then the division is garbageComment

Been that way for a long while now. Fans wait patiently only to see them come back in meaningless fights. Then after the fight the waiting begins again for months on end.Comment

Bud is 36 and his sights are pointed on the next division/s. Ennis will be 27 by the time he takes his next fight, and he's expected to start having a hard time making the weight. Nothing is clear in this division's current picture. Inactivity is widespread.
