Mayweather: "Forget Jones, Hopkins Should Fight Dawson"

Hopkins could fight Dawson, and it would be a great fight, but him and Roy is watchable. Good hype about it too.

Anyone wanting to priove themselves at LHW needs to fight Dawson. He is still green in his name though.

Pretty girl is complaining about Hopkins fighting Roy? And would rather Hopkins take on a bigger challenge against Dawson? WOW! Although i think Hopking/Jones shouldnt happen since its way past due and really no interest....Floyd should shut his trap and take some of his own advice and step up and challenge cats in his OWN weight division! this prick runs his mouth too much yet wont take on real challenges himself......puto!!!!!

I would've much rather seen Bernard Hopkins fight Chad Dawson over Roy Jones myself, but that doesn't mean that I don't think Hopkins will beat Chad handily if the fight ever happens. A big part of the reason why the fight isn't happening in the near future is because HBO has let Dawson take a 6 month rest period since his rematch with Tarver. Hopkins wants to fight in the early part of the year and HBO was trying to jerk him around on the date when it came to fighting the winner of the rematch between Johnson and Dawson. Combine this with the fact that there is no guarantee that Dawson will beat Johnson.

If Hopkins sat out and let that fight play out and predicate his next move around that, he'd be taking a chance on having to settle for a guy he already beat convincingly. Glen Johnson is one of my favorite fighters, and I like his attitude better than B-Hop's. But if that fight ever happens again, Hopkins boxes his head off just like last time.

i think that would be a good fight maybe b-hop could fight dawson before he fights jones HAHA i know that would never happen though...but another thing i was curious about is what if hopkins beats jones in the rematch that would make a rubber match a must and since the first rematch took 16 years to make whats gonna happen for the third fight?they gonna fight when theyre 60? haha

i see where pbf is coming from but i dont agree with him.i think b-hop and roy will be a good fight,i think people are writing off roy jones too much,i think roy will pull it off and surprize alot of people.
