How about cleaned out a division, never ducked anybody, and went against the biggest challenges available to him even in his 40s where it would have been 100% acceptable for him to fight tomato cans. He also said that he wanted either the dawson and Johnson winner or Adamek, and since none of those gus are available now he went after an 8 figure payday in Jones, can you blame him for that?

Truthfully that's the fight I want to see Hopkins in the most.

I'm not exactly sold on Dawson just yet, but I do believe his handspeed and workrate could give him troubles.

But at the same time ; I know that even at his advanced age Hopkins would be able to bust him up in the clinch pretty badly. I can't think of any active fighter who is more uncomfortable with being roughed up on the inside than Chad Dawson.

Dont get confused on fight he Loss. Win or lose if you fight the best out there is mad props. You dont get Props for fighting Ducks and Ducking fights. Bhop is a Legacy fighter. Floyd said on record he dont fight for bragging rights. Hes fights for Money. Thats why Bhop gets a standing ovation and Floyd gets Booooooood in every arena. Even his home town.
With all due respect to B-Hop, Floyd has earned his position. I can't justify paying $60 for another sparring session but there's no doubt Floyd paid his dues. A decade ago he had to fight the other top super feather with the winner getting a long term contract.

Example... you give me 5 fighters Mayweather fought. I'll give you 5 better top A class fighters he didnt and should have fought!

Give me 5 Bhop fought and I cant find any to much better in opponent speaking.

IF Mayweather Earned something it sure didnt pay dividends in the end. With Irs issues and little Fan base and a bad rep Vs Bhop good rep great fans base and tons of money himself and nobody ever repoed his ****.

Maybe you're right...Floyd Earned everything he got!!!!

It's a little easier to clean out a division when you're there forever. Floyd never had much of a chance unless he wanted to wait because Casa and Freitas had other options. It's easy not to duck somebody when you don't challenge yourself. He stayed at 160 long past his due. You can't even argue that. If Floyd fought Carl Daniels, Hakkar, Allan III, etc. he'd be destroyed on these forums. Hopkins followed up his biggest win with nothing. He had an opportunity to fight Roy and he priced himself out, once again can't even argue that.

He's taking challenges (calculated ones) in his 40's because he has NOTHING TO LOSE. Everything Hop has done was carefully thought out. Every scenario is one where he won't lose as much as he could win.

I don't really want to downplay what Hopkins has done, but Floyd has done things just as impressive if not more.

What does that have to do with earning his position? Sure it was a long time ago but Mayweather paid his dues. He wasn't some nobody when he hit the mainstream with Gatti, he was an accomplished two-division champ, former Fighter of the Year, high-ranking pound for pounder with an impressive dossier. I, like you, have been underwhelmed since.

Give me 5 Bhop fought and I cant find any to much better in opponent speaking.
Maybe both Floyd and B-Hop paid their dues?

This may go down as NSB Sentence of the Year.

I wouldn't bet against him. Dawson is a sucker for a right hand. At the same time I feel Hopkins believes that Dawson will be a handful because of his work rate and if Hop can't hurt him especially early then he's in for a long night.

Take your own advice and STFU Floyd.... It's absolutely disgusting how such a naturally talented athlete and fighter like Floyd is afraid to take on legitimate fighters his own size and on his same division....
