Lopez is one of the boxers I cannot bet against, he's proven me wrong several times over.

He’s must watch for sure. Even the judges in Warrington’s backyard couldn’t rob him of the win.

            That is a bit odd.

A proven, well-travelled road warrior champion is the co-feature bout to 2 relatively unknown guys.

The only reason I can conjure up is that they are both title matches, and the vacant one involves Ford who is an American boxer from NJ but the other one is Mexico and Japan?

I don't agree, but that is the only reason I can think of.

It's BS. Lopez defeated Warrington and Conlan in their hometowns which is more impressive than anything Ford or Otabek have done.

Every time I've heard Bob Arum speak of Lopez, you can tell he doesn't believe in him and every time he steps up in a fight, it's almost like he's expecting him to loose.

Bob was quoted as saying “I have matchmakers at Top Rank who told me that the kid had a hell of a shot with Warrington. I didn’t think so, but he was certainly able to handle him"

He also spoke highly of Conlan and just shrugged it as "eh we'll feed Lopez to Conalan" only for him to get absolutely hammered!

Now Lopez is defending his title in a mandatory fight and sets him as a co-feature to a vacant title fight in a division where he is currently ranked as #1 is just disrespectful.
If it wasn't for most of the talent at 126 and 130 being at TopRank, Lopez should tell Bob Arum to go F himself.
