I find the stark difference to when Canelo chose to fight Golovkin is he knew he could wait for GGG to begin showing signs of decline and age before fighting him whereas now Benavidez is in his mid twenties and not going anywhere. Canelo is HOF worthy already but this would be such a good legacy fight for him it’s a shame we don’t get to see it next considering what David did to Andrade.

Let me make something clear. Benny’s biggest problem is that he has a complete idiot Sampson Lewkowicz, who is his “so called” promoter, and more appropriate, his cheerleader. There is no reason why he should fight another unknown fighter next.
