If Canelo were to hold a press conference announcing that he was scared of Benavidez, I could respect him a lot more. If he were to wear pink panties with yellow flowers on them, and he wrote Puto Canelo on his forehead, and he said the words, "Please forgive me. I'm scared of the Mexican monster", and then if he cried real hard while he ****** his left thumb and ******** his own ass with his right hand, while screaming and crying, "VIVA MEXICOOOO!!", I could totally forgive him. Fewer than a handful of promoters around the globe can provide the upfront escrow money for Canelo and his opponent, much less than the cost of promotion, venue rentals and the like to stage a Canelo fight. That is why it would take a "big" promoter to come up with that kind of money. That is also why, apart from the usual bombast and BS, not one has come up with the money. Even promoters at Al Haymon's level are scrambling to find the money to stage these fights. The idea that Benavidez's promoter coughed up $55 million for Canelo is more than silly, and sillier are the poor devils who believe this jerk.Comment

A trillion %. The best Canelo can expect is a flash knockdown on Benny other than that its gonna be a horrible night for him. After round 6 he's gonna get walked down and will eat copious amounts of leather to head and body as his stamina begins to fail. Explain? They’re both avoiding risky fights. You can’t say canelo is ducking benevidez without pointing out benevidez is also ducking morrel. People just have double standards. Both are just looking for paydays. Benevidez best win is Caleb plant btw who took him the distance. Plant isn’t even one of canelos top 5 opponents let alone wins lol.
