It will help If canelo start facing his mandatories, a least one of them.

Definitely not. Canelo shouldn't face Jermall...and neither should Benavidez. Jermall is a stepping stone like Andrade. I'm also not interested in Canelo/Crawford. But I think you've proven my point: Canelo is the center of attention. He gets preferential treatment from the WBC for the same reason everyone wants to fight him. Benavidez lacks credibility/value outside of his proximity to Canelo, and that's what Paulie is trying to drive home about the entire division. If you pluck Canelo out of the equation, SMW plummets. Look at what happened after Canelo and then GGG left MW.

Benavidez moving up and facing Gvozdyk is a wise move.

168 would be ripe for a WBSS-like tournament if you could get Canelo in it or if Canelo leaves/retires so the belts are involved.

David B, David M, Mbilli, Osleys, Diego, Munguia, Plant & Canelo. Make it happen Mr Turki.

On Canelo's side, it comes down to the sanctioning organizations not being willing to call his mandatories. And on the contender side, they need to fight each other. Most fighters these days seem to take it as a business, and don't want to prove themselves the best in the division any more. And why not? Even the ones that do challenge themselves end up with all kinds of ****** haters anyways just falling all over themselves to minimize their accomplishments.

This is an easy one to answer, they're all scared to lose their 0, once they take an L the opportunities start to drop, ex no more big pay days.

Exactly this. Ironically I actually commented something similar recently. With Alvarez getting the attention and criticism, allows others to skate along.. same time, the ducking claims actually building up canelos opponents. David better stay ready because he ain’t ever seen anything like canelo. Personally I think Alvarez turns in a p4p performance. David gonna be shook when he sees all Alvarez belts

This was a last minute supposed cherry pick after Big Baby tested dirty. Al almost never works with Eddie or Fishnets.
