Canelo IS running from Benavidez, and has been for years and years. Its starting to rival how Amir Khan ran from Kell Brook for over a decade. And in some ways, it's worse, because Canelo is in a position to fight anyone he wants, and he just cherry picks all over the place. The public has been wanting to see this fight for years now, and Canelo is well aware of this. But in David he sees a.problem, he sees a fighting heart. Someone who doesn't dance around and flick jabs all night, someone who u hit and he'll throw 10 punches in return, very accurate, can throw every punch in the book, hits hard, is determined to win not survive, very good defense and reflexes, he sees speed and counterpunching, skill, he also sees someone who really wants to fight him who he knows will be in 25 round shape on fight night. And the biggest thing he sees is that David has Mexican heritage too. So he understands this fight has implications for history of who was the baddest ass Mexican of this era. So losing to David kinda take a lot away from Canelo's legacy. If he loses, history will say thats why he ran for so many years. He was scared. He cherry picked for years. Who TF was Avni Yildirim, and all tthese other weirdos he fought? I think u can be respectful of Canelo while still telling the truth. He's running. He has no wish to face David now, or in the past. He used to say who has he fought? In boxing, that's a duck

Benavidez is not a runner so he will be there for Canelo. It will be interesting but it must happen before Canelo loses a step. Canelo is more dangerous than any fighter Benavidez has faced. Bivol had the style to beat Canelo so we will see with Benavidez.

Yep he'll be right there to hit clenelo as well. Now we all know that clenelo mentally quits when things aren't going his way

          2. You can deflect to mayweather and pac all you want but it doesn’t change the fact that right now, canelo has 1 opponent he should be facing and he’s doing everything in his power to avoid him. His trainer who has a large part in picking his opponents even all but said recently that Benavidez is too big of a risk.
          3. Saying canelo does what he wants basically just condones puss like behavior and makes you the casual because real boxing fans want to see the best fights get made. Not pull this ducking bullshyt. Have some dignity.
Haven't seen a canelo's fan with dignity nor shame.

If Canelo can't KO Ryder or Jermell he's got ZERO chance with a strong bull like Benavidez. In fact the opposite is more likely to happen as Canelo will empty his tank hitting DB's guard then he'd get worked over with short, powerful shots to head and body before he inevitably succumbs to the onslaught.

For what? Benavidez has beaten the tops at 168, is the #1 contender and mandatory. He should be fighting clenelo in may no, if and or but

Maybe he don't feel 100% yet.
But he does feel good for ryder, 40yo ggg and 154 pounder charlo. You guys have no shame.

No, I mean didn't Nell have wrist surgery? Maybe Nell only feels 80% right now, and hes rehabilitating still.
Benavides is a big fight so he needs to be 100%, he can be 8o% for ryder

Maybe, maybe that's why charlo lost the fight because he had surgery too and wasn't 100%, common man, I can see why he took on ryder to test the wrist, he hit him with all his might and then charlo. The wrist hasn't been mentioned at all. His ego doesn't let him see the whole picture, he's afraid of losing and fans are beginning to question his choice when picking opponents, they're looking at his resume that's littered with no-hopers and guys past their prime, really who he has fought in his prime, that you can say it was a fair fight? Lara and bivol, and he lost both fights.
