  • What's your take on why Jaron Ennis wants no part of Conor Benn?

This Jaron Ennis team is very confusing. He filed a lawsuit complaining and claiming he needs 3-4 fights a year.
Yet he's been ignoring guys who are interested in fighting him.

There's this one also with Cobbs 2 years ago, and Blair repeated his call just recently.

Bozy Ennis' excuse on Benn: "He's not even known in Philly," according to Benn at around 13:00 mark on video.

Bozy Ennis on Conor Benn: "I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT HIM!"

In contrast, we found out that out of prime Danny Garcia has been talking to Hearn for the Benn fight. Not to mention Tank Davis also called out Benn.

Could be that he doesn't want to fight a drugs cheat. Or that Benn has zero US profile and a weak resume. Or Boots has a mandatory he has to face and so isn't going to vacate just to fight Benn. Or that Benn's team don't really want the fight but just like to talk about other fighters to get attention.

Just a guess though, I don't follow twitter talk or even interviews much. Sometimes a guy talks like he wants a fight but then ducks it, other times guys will act like they don't want a fight but then sign for it. So a lot of talk is meaningless.

These are not recent events. It's been going on for at least 2 years. So this mandatory thing is a non issue. Remember, he claims he needs 3-4 fights a year in his lawsuit. He fought only once in 2022, twice in 2023. Short of 3-5 fights for the last 2 years. That's an awful lot for a guy who claims he wants 3-4 fights a year.

Might be the reason for the lawsuit. You seem smart.
