Benavidez landed at 38% Canelo 32%, he also landed twice as many punches on Plant, and despite not stopping him he put a longer sustained beating on Plant that Canelo did, who didn't beat him up at all until he caught him. Canelo did not win every round he lost 3-4 rounds. You literally got everything wrong. Plus Benavidez did it in a bigger ring vs and improved Plant and a corrupt Ref helping Plant.

I get what you’re saying but think of the boxing politics for a second; how certain fighters brands are built on defeating certain demographics . You’re viewing things from an entirely general perspective. Canelo isn’t the only fighter not facing Benavides.

The Canelo hate is pretty silly TBH. There's only one guy right now who has fought all the best available opponents his whole career, and only missed out on big fights because he got ducked, no tuneups, no quibbling over money, just making the fights against the top guys in his divisions. And people still hate on him too. EVERYONE else ducks guys for money or other reasons, makes excuses, takes the easy fights, pulls people up from lower divisions, puts on rehydration clauses and rematch clauses, gets caught using PEDs thanks to eggs or wild boar, fakes retirement, pulls out for mental health reasons, or just gets inactive as soon as they get a belt.

Name ONE guy (other than the obvious guy who signed a literal contract to never take an easy fight) who doesn't play all these ****** games.

I think you're trying to shift the conversation. My position is simple. A so-called "undisputed" champion should face the best challenger if he intends to hold belts and remain active in that division. I apply this universally across the board. Benavidez is TBRB #1 and WBC mandatory, I think he should be Canelo's next opponent.
