Has nothing to do with hate
Coincidentally many of the fighters on their roster are shelved and not so sure if it’s the money or what
All promoters have shelved some fighters but seems to me and many others that it happens more often than not with PBC

I'm just glad to see that he isn't constantly referring to himself in the third person anymore. Hope he has enough left to give Tyszu a good fight. I feel like he is getting stopped regardless, but be great to see a battle and not a total wash.

Thurman was a good fighter 5 to 6 years ago. He brushed off Spence when Spence was an up and coming contender and I don't blame Spence for brushing off Thurman when he became champion. He should have just kept on fighting random guys to keep his skills sharp and to work off any ring rust. He was a very arrogant champion when he was on top. I think at his age of 35, he should have been fighting 4-5 times a year to keep his body sharp and to stay active. Once he got married everything changed with Thurman. Because of his inactivity I favor Tsyzu to knock him out. Sugar Ray Leonard did the same thing in the 80s. He retired, then unretired, then fought here and there and his career ended when Terry Norris beat him up at the age of 34. Thurman definitely doesn't have the same skills as Leonard did and he will suffer the same fate.

Thurman should've been more humble, take lesser fights, work his way back up the ladder and then things would've been different for him. At this point in his career, he gets what he deserves, not what he thinks he is owed.

A guy who speaks in the third person would have a hard time doing everything your saying and it’s unfortunate but fame got to his head and never left

This is what's been going on in this era of boxing, I noticed. Fighters earn a few million bucks or even maybe less, then they take long extended vacation ignoring anything related to boxing. Case in point at the top of my head is Carlos Adames. Lubin calls him out, after his win with Williams, and didn't like it. He also had no interest in exploring the fight with Janibek, who's been mentioning his name since time immemorial. It's as if he's being called out for a charity event and responding is doing everyone a favor. It's been eight months since his last fight.

Keef should have thought about this while he was being inactive AF, now he has been relegated to gatekeeper status…

True. Keith Thurman's name will look good on anyone's resume at this point. He did it to himself.

He wasn't doing it on purpose he had multiple injuries and surgery over the time that was the main reason he was out.
