Teo is a deep thinker is he, well this is what he thinks

“Teofimo is a Hall of Famer no doubt,” said Lopez to BoxingScene.com. “Two-time undisputed world champion, 25 years young, two divisional world champion, two-time lineal world champion.”

Matchmaking is definitely part of it; Teo has shown he has issues with movers. If his team isn't going to try and teach him how to handle fighters with those skill sets then they should definitely try to navigate their way around them.

Teo has power and he can counter well but I don't recall him having a real high punch output. If he can't clip someone with his power and affect the fight with it, a volume puncher might create issues. And while I'm thinking on it, I don't recall him fighting a lot of murderous punchers.

Teo is capable of being excellent, but too often comes up well short of that. Against Kambosis he was plain bad. Against Ortiz he was lucky to get the decision. Add the deluded arrogance to that inconsistency and it draws the hate in from the fans.

STOP, virtually all the best names on his resume are guys he cherrypicked when they were either before or after their primes.

Diego Corrales is the best peak fighter he beat.

The problem with Lopez is that on any given night he can win a lineal championship or sc**** out an unconvincing decision against the likes of Sandor Martin or Jamaine Ortiz (I thought Martin beat him, I scored the Ortiz fight even). He needs to get his head on straight and hire a trainer that won't put up with anything but elite habits from him.
