Also lets be a lil more serious too Devin & Ryan are doing & saying sh^t since this fight got announced to attract max attention so obviously ppl are eating it up.
A throne at the presser.
Ryan & Devin arguing intensely the week the fight got announced til Bill started going at Ryan.
Ryan's dad "nappy headed" comment.
Horse riding to the presser.
Ryan high on twitter.
Devin saying Ryan was drunk at the face off.
Bhop & Ryan make amends.
Etc & so on.
This fight has been super extra & ppl were gonna be talking about this fight when so much attention getting sh^t has happened in such a small window.
Jake Paul especially, but Ryan & Tank & others have shown in just a few short yrs how much social media can enhance the ppl that gaf about what you do & its only a matter of time before more non-US ppl start doing it. So sure US guys are at the top of the social media exploitation of fans attention to the maximum benefit of boxers, but its still a newer thing that plenty of US boxers aren't doing. Ffs as a Boots fan it drives me mad he doesn't have a social media person putting out content on him besides him doing basic boxing training or a pic with "fight date locked in" or "fight date coming" every 2 wks as he stays inactive.

There's a lot of waiting around these days. Spence, Crawford, Ennis, the Charlos, Adames, Plant, Benavidez, Morrell, Lee, etc. These people are wasting their primes. They'll be begging for fights in their 40's and as Spence mentioned,
"Some of y'all forget what this sh**t really for until you're 37 years old trying to make a comeback for 10% of what you used to make. “All that said, you can kill the retirement **** though. Yeah, I got my ass beat – sh**t was past due. I didn't live exactly like a boxer for the most part." -- Errol Spence

With the announcement of Paul - Tyson this is becoming more urgent than ever.
What we need, outside the US, is a platform for real boxers putting in real work to raise their profiles and to fight regularly against credible opponents.

What exactly would be ideal to you on the international scene that you think doesn't exist that actually makes logical & financial sense?

Madrimov was excellent and put in the highest quality performance on the show. Excellent head movement, effective aggression and punch variation. Hope he gets his shot against Tszyu and some of the overrated Americans if they decide to fight again.

No one is "overrated" cuz they are better at selling their image or have worked harder at getting their name out in the ether. Anyone can work harder at getting their name bigger. Ali went to Liston's house in the middle of the night in his time. All you gotta do these days is throw a social media guy 1k-2k a mo or find a intern with skills who'll work for free & you can blow up with fans. It don't matter what country you are from. It doesn't matter what language you speak. There are fanbases out there ready to become your fan.

Seeing dismissive comments from US posters about Israil Madrimov reinforces what I wrote in my OP. Yeah, let's keep the focus on semi-retired, injury prone hasbeens like Spence and Thurman. They need more undeserved big paydays to waste on sports cars and mansions.
