It's always the guys that stink up the joint that demand rematches. He had a chance to prove himself but barely exchanged all night. I really thought his plan was to open up in the second half and make it exciting. He chose not too. A rematch? That ship has sailed!

Sorry boss, not going to happen. The powers at be are going to keep Theo away from movers as much as possible. Kid can't cut off the ring to save his life, and cries like a ***** when people don't stand in front of them and let him tee off. He may get as well get the tissues ready if he ever fights Haney.

Why are they boxing if they are that afraid to do what needs to be done to win a fight? And then you have a huge segment of fighters who really don’t care whether they win or lose a fight - they just want to last the distance and not get knocked out so they can complain that they got robbed.

These kind of fighters are killing boxing; if I was ESPN I would be thinking twice about bankrolling a sport that keeps providing fights like Lopez-Ortiz.
Using movement to avoid punches is not the same as avoiding engagement to avoid punches. Movement for avoidance sake is not in the spirit of combat sports.
I love great defense you know. Watch Marquis Taylor vs Paul Kroll. Taylor has a lot side to side movement. You cant hit him. But he's always right there and delivering his own shots. He doesnt run. He reminds me of James Toney at times. Toney never ran and he had the best defense I can think of.

Excessive running just means to me you're not mentally ready. All you have conjured up in your mind is getting splashed on the canvas, instead of doing the opposite and not get perturbed by the opponent's punches. Mind over matter. A housewife being able to lift a heavy car to save his son, as an example. You go in the ring with the intention of hurting the opponent, unfearful of what he's throwing. Of course, the training takes care of the technical side.

Fact that you're not talking about keeping it out of the hands of the judges means nobody wants to see a rematch...
