Thurman should not be taken lightly. He doesn't fight often because he doesn't like to. He's an opportunist. He only fights for titles and the occasional tune-up. He doesn't take eliminators. Because he's not seen, folks forget what he brings to the table. As long as he can take a body shot, he fights very competitively. He's going to give Tyzsu a run for his money. Winning, is even a possibility.

I love when an aging vet uses guile and experience to beat a younger guy. I just don't think Thurman is that guy. He squeaked by Porter and Garcia in his prime.

It's hilarious how some of these fans act like Tim Tszyu is this polished, versatile, adaptable fighter who switches gears effortlessly. He's a basic guy. A very good fighter, but painfully basic. I just don't see even a rusty Thurman struggling with a guy like this unless he gets caught to the body early and has to get on his moped.

Thurman peaked EIGHT YEARS AGO with a decision over Porter. He hasnt done much meaningful since.

How TF can anyone hate on Tim? throwback fighter. When waiting for his mandatory position, instead of sitting inactive like 95% of boxers, he took dangerous fight after dangerous fight. (of those 4 fights, all in a 12 month period; 2 of which have been former world champs, and 2 have been younger than him.) But yeah, Keith is small now, even though he's taller with an equal reach? Not to mention that he's fighting Keith because Lubin didn't want the smoke. We all know most American fighters hate fighting more than once a year now.

Hell, Tank is a world champ who doesn't take dangerous fights or fight other champs (Tim and Tank are the same age)

if you don't see it, then you clearly have no clue what you are seeing in the sport of boxing. Thurman will get beat down and stopped.
