But all that "I can't stand lazy, loudmouth Tyson Fury" stuff aside; how much can we really read into that non-title fight?

    My Su****ion is - Nothing.

Ngannou started boxing as a kid and swallowed the world of MMA fighters whole with that Boxing and an itty-bitty dose of quick learned grappling & kicking added on. And he CAME TO FIGHT.

Fury, conversely; came to clown, posture and pose, without benefit of a serious training camp.

But as was stated above, through Fury-Usyk and Joshua-Ngannou, all shall be revealed.

The storyline keeps fans coming back for the next chapter.

They went 10 rounds, and Fury looked horrible vs. a 37 year old man who was 0-0 as a boxer. Thats what I see. Many felt Fury lost. Would a title fight vs. a fringe contender who is even older and in worse shape prove anything for Fury? He just had that fight. The man is a cheating clown was caught using PED's .

Open your eyes a bit to the facts.

i agree, interestingly when fury's baby was born and in intensive care he and his dad were in a bad place and praying for the baby and john told tyson to come for a run around the block to try and feel better and when they did tyson only got a short distance and was worn out puffing and struggling. yet he is always in the gym training.
A few weeks later he beats wilder 3 in a great show of stamina and fortitude.
My point is that even very fit people can lose that ability very quickly if they do not do it all the time but when they train it quickly returns.
just my thoughts on not been fully prepared for Ngannou and it showed but he still won and credit to fury as always he found a way to win. but Ngannou is a heavyweight champion people love saying he has never boxed before which misleads many people. it may be a variation mma but the end target is the same.

Enjoy the next 10 years of heavyweight boxing headlined by 45 year old Zhang, box office superstar Filip Hrgovic and "The new Odlanier Solis" Frank Sanchez

Fury loves and craves the attention. Take it away he will get depressed and 450lbs. He will keep retiring and fighting till 50. He isn't going anywhere. It will be fun watching fat Fury knocked all over the place in his 40's

            The facts are not those.

Ngannou is a boxer and has been for 21 years. He applied his boxing in an adjacent sport, but he's never been anything except a boxer. I knew this. All the submission grapplers, kickboxers, wrestlers and martial artists who've ever been punched by Ngannou knew this, and Fury should have known this too, and maybe done a few situps going in.

When he actually prepares to have a fight, guys like Ngannou won't have a flash knockdown.

I'm not sure Usyk will either.

            A deep cut, maybe.

I know that this is the moment of glee for the Fury haters and I'm not trying to steal that from them, but Fury remains the Heavyweight Champion of the world, undefeated, and the man to beat.

Hopefully, Usyk will get his chance to stop the freight train.

            Keep watching my friend.

Ummm ... Fury went 10 rounds with an older 37 year old 0-0 boxer who had zero professional boxing experience. Fury was floored by him and " won " via spilt decision! Those are at the FACTS. It wasn't a flash knockdown. Fury should be embarrassed by his performance. We can laugh at him being exposed, but does not care as long as he got paid and escaped with no permeant damage.

How much did Fury make for this farce? You tell me.

Francis Ngannou is exactly what I said he is. Nothing more, nothing less. You know how that works. Debuting in the professional boxing circuit, he was paid to box under MMA rules and became a legend doing it, and he sure wasn't paid to wrestle there.
Still, I suppose Fury should have blasted him out the way he did Whyte and Chisora in his last two real rights, for the title; but you need to train to look that good it seems.

Fury made $62 million for the 3 fights against Wilder: 10, 25 and 27 per fight.
He made $41 million for Dillian Whyte, and reportedly, $50 million for the Ngannou non-title 10 rounder. To put down Usyk, he'll earn considerably more than that. If Ngannou isn't thrown back to 600k max per fight club by Joshua's reinvigorated self, there may be a rematch that Fury should actually prepare for, if only to make a point.

Apparently, if the sources used are correct, purse amounts are just growing and growing and growing for the Gypsy King.

Everybody everywhere is paid what the market will bear.

                Embarrassed?
He's the undefeated, historic champion of the flagship division of the biggest and most important combat sport in the world, and banking the big money that reflects that status.

                ...What's a little embarrassment???

Usyk might beat him though. It's certainly possible.

                Hang onto that.

I concur with that. Remember Fury has never lost and he has won every belt it has been possible to win from local to national to world. Light heavyweights usually don't have what it takes to beat a huge guy. Foreman vs Morrer is an example. It is so hard to beat men like this.
