  • Why did Naoya Inoue insult American's boxing's style? Is it a publicity stunt?

This statement just seems out of character for Naoya Inoue.

Maybe he doesn't intentionally mean that fighters like Stephen Fulton lack skill, but motivation??

at the end of the day people from different countries, especially larger ones, tend to think they do things better than others or in their own better style sometimes

Why are people getting all up in their feelings about something that likely was lost in translation?

fulton was acting like a whiney girl goin into the fight, makin a fuss about the hand wraps, insinuating this and that.

yamato damashi is about going into a fight like a warrior, handling your business in the ring, and goin home.

                thats what inoue means.
