Comments Thread For: Bob Arum: Jamaine Ortiz Was Running Around The Ring; That Isn't Boxing; This Was Disgraceful

Ortiz fought to survive, just like Charlo vs Canelo. He didn't want to get KOd. Crawford is trashing Teofimo and saying the decision was a gift. Make the fight--Crawford vs Teofimo at 144-5.

"The guy just wouldn't stand in front of us so Teo could hit him. It's disgraceful - brings back memories of what Floyd did to Manny. Why won't these fighters just LET us hit them???"

Ortiz (17-2-1, 8 KOs), of Worcester, Massachusetts, landed two more punches overall than Lopez
...oh wait, you mean Ortiz OUTLANDED Teofimo? Whaaaa??? HOW can that happen if all he did was run???

Hell No! Bad enough if he fought Teo, instead of Boots, but a catch-weight would be adding insult to injury! Teofimo Lopez vs. Subriel Matias at MSG in June! I bet "Browny" won't run!

Ortiz must be loving that Top Rank contract right about now

There is absolutely no need for Bud to fight Teo until Teo looks spectacular AND can sell - what with Bud not being the biggest seller that matchup could never get both fighters the payday they want even if on ppv and would be over in 4 rounds anyway.

Bud better get Teo now while he still has a shot.. he waits much longer and Teo will absolutely steamroll him.
