I dint think Ortiz was robbed tbh.

I’m not a fan of punch stats but I think ESPN showed them post fight and it was 78 to 80. Was a close fight with very limited action.
    You made my point.

Punch stats had Ortiz landing 2 more punches than Lopez.

The punches he did land were touching jabs or a single counter punch.

IMO that's No way to take the title from the Champ.

    I love boxing.
But fights like last nights leave a bad taste in my mouth and that's No way to bring New fans to the sport.

I think you can make a genuine argument that Ortiz won, but 115-113 Lopez isn’t egregious IMO. The 117-111 card was egregious though.

A bad look for Teofimo though, he definitely struggles to cut the ring off. Doesn’t bode well for potential fights against rivals such as Haney and Shakur.
      Doesn’t use his jab
Doesn’t throw to the body , only headhunting which was detrimental against Kambosos
And can’t cut the ring if he was held at gunpoint

I think it was the 7th round when they announced that it was 54/51 for Ortiz
        Disgraceful for both

Yeah he’s definitely got to work on that. Especially if he was to fight a quality mover like Haney or Shakur.

Ortiz needed far more urgency. He might not get a better opportunity.

              He shouldn't after that performance.

                He’d get played hard
The only difference is a guy like Haney will make it look good and natural

I had it 114-114. Would've been fine with 115-113 either way. 117-111 was criminal.

I had it 115/113 for Ortiz but gave away many later rounds to Lopez
And that’s not to say Lope did much lol
The right call would of been a draw imho

Good point. TR seemingly put Shakur vs EDLS & Teo vs Ortiz on days to get more casual fans more interested in checking out boxing & the fights themselves probably worked more as a deterrent to casuals watching more boxing.
