  • Guys like Haney, Shakur and Ortiz are the death of boxing

Why anyone would support guys who are hurting the sport is beyond me.

And ppl wonder why boxing has become a niche sport.

You want boxing to keep dying then just keep supporting those type of guys

I don't know why Haney keeps getting lumped with these guys and how is he killing the sport actually? He is one of very few fighters actually staying active, chasing and fighting top fighters.

He has his moments sure but he has never put on a performance like the other two just did, ever.
In fact his last few fights have been pretty decent, the Loma bout especially.

Teo doesn't fit the mould you put him in, he has trouble catching the Haney Shakurs, but he is nothing like them, a boxing ring is a small place its not easy to get away from them and still punch them.

Sorry my bad I mixed up Lopez and Ortiz lol.

Haney isn't that bad, he just lacks power.

He still thinks he hits harder than Bradley Martin which would be impossible unless Martin has neurological damage.

Even if Martin lacks power too, he's twice his size.

Haney can box his ass off, I just don't see substance in a trench fight and somewhere along the line somebody is going to him into that type of fight, might be up at 147 even 154 maybe.

Idk that I'd throw Devin & Shakur in with Ortiz. Ortiz was straight up running for most of a rd doing no offense at all for long periods. To me thats white flagging the rd. Haney & Shakur are hard to hit while they are hitting the opp usually.
