Really wonder what could had Loma done to better in his career as a professional boxer if he was laser focused.
Technically he gave away 7 rounds against Teofimo, then we he got active in the last with 5 rounds, he edged most of those rounds, but it wouldn't be enough to compensate considering how Teofimo already had a big lead and made it competitive right after.
Also I thought Loma had outworked Haney who seemed to endure of all of Vasily's combinations to land an effective stinging jab to the body in attempts to slow him down. But Haney had the home field advantage and won the championship rounds.
Now he is turning 36 years old next week and based on how he performs with Kambosos, he might be pitted against a younger and physically bigger Shakur Stevenson to catapult his career after the horrible performance he gave against Edwin De Los Santos.
I see a Loma as a great technical and entertaining boxer, but his record doesn't reflect how good he is. Maybe because there was a lack of better opposition during his prime? (Outside Mikey Garcia and Gervonta Davis I mean)Last edited by Malvado; 02-08-2024, 02:02 AM.Comment
