Boring isn't it. It's why I posted Lewis - Holyfield 2 in good quality in the forum a few days ago. A reminder of what happens when two dedicated athletes want to prove who's the best and turn up twice in a calendar year.Comment

Anybody seen NASH????The promoter of Oleksandr Usyk isn't sold on the supposed evidence explaining the gash seen around the world. The highly anticipated undisputed heavyweight championship between Ukraine's Usyk, the WBO, WBA, IBF, IBO champion and WBC titlist Tyson Fury, set for Feb. 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, was derailed a few days ago after it was revealed that Fury suffered a serious cut, allegedly during a sparring session.

Fury should take a leaf out of Uysk's book: putting vaseline on the gloves etc to minimize cuts from a source I read yesterday. Likewise refreshing to read this as well below:

Tyson Fury vs Usyk will 100% happen on May 18th. It’s the first time in boxing history such a huge $10M penalty exists for each fighter. If the fight can’t take place on May 18th, one fighter will have to personally pay the other fighter $10M. This clause is in the contract.Comment

What i dont understand is they release/leak a video shot with a nokia 3310 which proves nothing cause the quality is trash. But in the interview with mma hour turki alalshikh claims he has a special camera tracking all of fury's training and the cut was legit. Fine, but why not release that footage so we can all shut the f up. God im annoyed this fight isnt happening....
Yeah my 10 year old go pro takes way way better video than that bullchit they uploaded. i dont think you can even buy a camera that bad these days, they probably edited it or something to make it harder to tell whats going on.Comment

In all honesty, the Dubois body shot should have been a legal blow, shots like that are landed in many, many fights and it is a knockdown. Usyk really hammed it up also.
Usyk is tough and I have been a fan for years, but if that fight was in Vegas, he likely would have lost.
Regardless, I am glad the fight is happening. But the Fury haters making up this narrative that Fury is always making excuses....it is literally silliness. Usyk pulled out of the negotiations. If he really thought he could beat Fury, he would have negotiated the best terms he could get and went in and beat him. Fury is lineal and a far bigger draw. Usyk is not a big draw, very good fighter, but never been a huge seller.
The fight was stalled because of the Saudi money, Usyk, or at least his team, did Fury dirty big time and ran to the press after Usyk pulled out of negotiations via email, and they blamed Fury and made up nonsense. Usyk was obviously told to pull out because the Saudi's were guaranteeing him big money this year. Fury was likely told the same. They rear ended Fury, Usyk's team are backhanded, Maybe Fury did call for 70/30, but at least he is open about what he wants. Usyk never talks and his team runs their mouths like they are the ones fighting.
When Fury keeps Usyk at the end of his jab all night and uses his size to wear Usyk down and then stops him, this board will be hilarious.
Truer words have never been spoken.
