I for one will not lend to any conspiracy theories but I would bet that if he loses the fight, he will make a bunch of excuses about not being able to train well or the cut took time to heal or he couldn't spar - I'm sure you would agree with that. He has ready-to-go excuses now that he got cut.

There is also his interview with Sky shortly after the Usyk fight fell apart (the first time) of him saying that he will never fight the other top heavy weights and he will only fight for money now.

Beating a 40 year Wlad in one of the most boring fights I've ever seen and Wilder 3 times does not make you the "best ever" as he proclaims every time there is a camera pointed at his face!

You talk about Usyk getting exposed vs Dubois, what about Fury getting exposed vs Ngannou??? A guy who has literally never boxed a single professional fight in his life and knocked Fury and left him more bruised up than I have ever seen Fury. Look at his post fight interview. Fury looked like he got jumped!

At the end of the day I have no idea how people like you can defend a fighter who openly states that he has no interest in fighting other top fighters, only fights for money, doesn't care about being undisputed, clearly makes it difficult to actually sign a fight, cheats with elbows, is a PED user, and who is a pathological liar...
      VS
Usyk, a guy who literally did the opposite and fought every top fighter in his class, trying to fight the top fighters in another class which he is clearly at a size disadvantage, actually signs fights ASAP (his negotiations for both AJ fights went fast), doesn't fight for money, and who is actually trying to chase glory and become undisputed!
Fury is hated because he is lineal, the far bigger draw, and so asked for more money? That is how most big moneymaker prizefighters do business.

Fury is a showman and talker, he has always said and done silly stuff to get press and build hype. So? He has backed it up in the ring. He smashed Wilder. Most fun HW fights in a long time.

Usyk is a different type of guy. Always been a fan. But why would anyone take Fury overly serious and get mad? He destroyed Wilder, he offered AJ a fight, he offered Ruiz. Guys turned him down because beating a guy that big and that good is a task.

Funny you don’t even see fugh nut Sid Knee coming in here to protect one of his own
Sid Knee is a very interesting person with very weird opinions. He engaged me and posted that Isaac Dogboe was robbed against Ramirez mentioning punch stats, I found the stats and he said he didn't belive in that. Go figure.

We’ve heard so many excuses from plenty of boxers but it appears only Fury is held on a different standard.
          • PAC had a pre-existing rotator cuff injury and also had a calf injury.
          • David Haye had a broken toe.
          • Ryan Garcia has a myriad of them
          • Spence was weight drained

And there is the other one, “I’ll come back stronger than ever” from Khan, AJ, etc and best one of “That wasn’t me in there” from the likes of Tarver, Lacy, Broner etc.

He was also scared to fight Wilder in the rematch and after knocking him out, he was also so scared of a third fight which also ended in a knockout.

In all honesty, the Dubois body shot should have been a legal blow, shots like that are landed in many, many fights and it is a knockdown. Usyk really hammed it up also.

Usyk is tough and I have been a fan for years, but if that fight was in Vegas, he likely would have lost.

Regardless, I am glad the fight is happening. But the Fury haters making up this narrative that Fury is always making excuses....it is literally silliness. Usyk pulled out of the negotiations. If he really thought he could beat Fury, he would have negotiated the best terms he could get and went in and beat him. Fury is lineal and a far bigger draw. Usyk is not a big draw, very good fighter, but never been a huge seller.

The fight was stalled because of the Saudi money, Usyk, or at least his team, did Fury dirty big time and ran to the press after Usyk pulled out of negotiations via email, and they blamed Fury and made up nonsense. Usyk was obviously told to pull out because the Saudi's were guaranteeing him big money this year. Fury was likely told the same. They rear ended Fury, Usyk's team are backhanded, Maybe Fury did call for 70/30, but at least he is open about what he wants. Usyk never talks and his team runs their mouths like they are the ones fighting.

When Fury keeps Usyk at the end of his jab all night and uses his size to wear Usyk down and then stops him, this board will be hilarious.
Oregonian Oregonian NYG NYG like this.

Fury boxes just as well as Usyk. Usyk is a tough dude and good fighter, but he hasn't looked amazing at HW. So why in the hell would Fury duck him, with a massive payday on the line?

                    He does not
