See the differentiation between Mexican fans and Mexican American fans needs to be understood. The Mexican fans are legit fans of the sport and are knowledgeable. Most Mexican American fans operate with more of a nationalistic approach and support Canelo blindly. They’ll defend anything he does. Mexican fans on the other hand are intelligent enough to see through Canelo’s BS and don’t compromise their integrity as boxing fans. That’s why Canelo was booed vs Ryder and why guys like Chavez, Marquez, Barrera and morales would never be booed. Canelo doesn’t get the same respect in Mexico as the previous generation has and if munguia doesn’t step up the comp soon enough, it’ll be the same for him. Right now his style of fighting is enough to win them over but that will only last so long.

TB seems to be hating on certain fighters lately... tim used to be a well spoken polite individual... now tim is always hating on fighters that he does not root for... like saying TC will beat canelo... now dont get me wrong, i also have TC beating canelo but im just a casual but for someone in TB's position to be making those type of claim is disrespectful to canelo.

Canelo will stick to flat foot, come forward, hit-able guys like Mungia but within the PBC like Jermall or Spence.
