  • Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury on Usyk: I'm a Conqueror, He's Oleksandr and I am 'The Great'

Tyson Fury can play many roles. The WBC heavyweight champion can be a clown, a boxing historian or a bully. He can be self depreciating, a showman or uninterested. He is always unpredictable.

Fury is likely the deserved favourite, but he is not going to win on size alone.

That would be a big mistake, underestimating Usyk because he's not a big heavyweight. Ask Joshua what happened.

Fury has been quiet. Perhaps he is really preparing.
I also love when he talks about him potentially being beat. I think that is the actual honest Fury (if that exists). I think he comes completely prepared, and that doesn't mean (for the ignorant people) that he is going to have abs.

History has shown that when a man becomes too full of himself following some success, God ALWAYS humbles him as what happened to Broner, McGregor, Hopkins and countless others. The SAME thing will happen to the Gypsy Queen who already lost to Ngannou but will take an even worse beating at the hands of arguably p4p #1 Usyk.

Fury made people forget that he was once reasonable in his big talks and that no matter what he talks - when he has to be serious - he does the job. He also exposed what a great cheater Wladimir is (something that has been previously hinted by other fighters, but directly stated by Pulev who no one took seriously because he lost). People also forget that he fought a big fight with alcohol and drugs and used to be an inspiration for many. But as I said: he made them to forget that, because he went a bit too far in his behaviour, while leaving boxing secondary. Now he has the chance to repair all of that and it's his only option. If he loses, he better insist on a rematch which he must win convincingly.

Fury can be funny, can be also irritating. He was always respectful to his opponents after the fights.

Surely usyk is going to win, as its for Ukraine. So much Usyks fighting for. An army man must be a better fighter than a gypsy

Honestly Usyk must win because of Ukraine.

The damage to the Ukraine morale if their invincible warrior gets beaten by a fat, obese, bald, Englishman who's legs and chin have gone, is ruined by drink, drugs, infadelity and obesity, and was beaten by Ngannou in his last fight and just got Ko'd by Jai Opetai would be just astronomical.

This match up .....it has a lot more going for it then all there last fights put together, Fury can be a bit much to "like" as a fighter for me but he is a fighter he did not win those fights by talking about them he won them by fighting those guys. And the same for Uysk esp in his earlier days in the Cruiserweights so yea it is a draw even without Fury's big mouth and antics.
