I picked spence. I looked at it like a hagler vs leonard style wise matchup with Spence being the powerful southpaw and I’ve seen crawford get hurt multiple times by smaller lesser fighters and even dropped by kalvauskis. Didn’t see that demolition coming. Very few did. Lots had bud winning but no one saw him walking through Spence like that. I’ve always rated boots and Ortiz above spence and crawford in all my posts but now with Ortiz at 154 only ennis is left as a real challenge at 147. Realistically do you see anyone at 147 besides Jaron ennis as challenge? Is a charlo fight marketable? Spence is better them both and whoops on whichever one he trains with so what’s the point in that fight? If he not fighting canelo or Tim kazoo and the rematch with Spence ain’t happening ennis should be given a shot it’s hypocritical of bud to deny him that chance after crying for years that it was done to him

The no 1 p4p fighter in the world right now Jan 31st 2024 is Terence Bud Crawford.

Yes, bud is no1, until ring update listings where Inoue will be no1 pfp. I mean Ring might keep bud there if he fights a good fighter again and looks good doing it. But in a fair world, taking 5 years to beat Spence is only going to take bud or anyone so far.

This ain’t going to happen. Crawford and some of the new guys coming up think they deserve Canelo money. Theirs a reason why Canelo makes that type of money. People ridicule him now but he fought EVERYBODY when he came up the ranks.

Yes Boots passes all the eye tests but I believe Bud would dispense of him not as easily as he has done against Errol but still getting the W
I just don’t see the need for Bud to fight Ennis now as he is on his way out and seems like he is a candidate for the Canelo sweepstakes
I can understand him going for the money being at the end of his career
Him and Boots will not be successful for anybody , they just are two with minimal fans and no fughin character whatsoever lol

bud has said several times why he doesnt want to fight boots - at least he is transparent about it. so i doubt there are any negotiations going on behind the scenes.

but boxing fans do want to know who Bud is fighting next - its taking too long

Nah I’m stating facts. Crawford never defended 140 and didn’t fight the best in that division. Can u imagine Oscar and trinidad ducking Vargas and mayorga? Say what u want it is what it is lol. Whoever you guys put in front of Crawford gets immediately discredited and trashed as soon as he dismantles them. Viktor Postol was called a 50/50 fight. Felix Diaz was an Olympic gold medalist everyone was demanding Crawford fight. Gamboa was on the P4P Top 10 when Bud destroyed him. Pistol was the WBC mandatory at 140 Danny Garcia left the division to avoid. Remember? Is it all coming back to you now? Don't revise history to satisfy your sordid anti-Bud agenda. That’s my main complaint with crawford as well. Just a fabulous fighter but lots of long periods of inactivity and not always the best opposition. But there’s fights out there for him. Spence rematch is fine if they fight soon, possibly canelo in the future, Tim kazoo and TC would be a helluva scrap, ennis at 147, Ortiz at 154. If he takes on a few of those fights and wins 1 or 2 of them he will go down as an ATG.
