Oscar reps Munguia as a co-promoter and he's telling the press this? Confirmation of his addiction.... Either way, Bumavidez isn't seeing Canelo no time soon re-visit in 25' or 26' or 27' or.......Comment

De La Hoya: Benavidez Deserves [Canelo Fight]; Been Mandatory For Canelo For Almost 2 Years
Oscar you better tell em! I don't know whom is more cowardly; Canelo or his fan boys?

It’s a bad joke. What’s the point of having “mandatories” if fighters ignore them? Boxing has been just a notch above pro wrestling for a number of years now. There’s no real order; there are numerous “governing bodies”; multiple “champions” in every division; “mandatories” are flouted; the scoring system is flawed to say the least; corruption and incompetence are rampant, etc.Comment

Morrell Jr has been Canelo's mandatory since Jan 2021, and the WBA is far and away the longest outstanding mandatory in rotation. The last time it was defended was Callum Smith defending against Canelo.
By Oscar's metric, the next fight should be Canelo v Morrell, who's not even Mexican.
It's disgraceful that the organizations haven't been calling their mandatories.Comment
