Canelo is blown up 154 guy, yes, but his last fight at that weight was about 10 years ago.

If they were he same size, that would mean they could fight at 147 because that is Crawford's division.

I would love to see this fight @ 168, but not before we get Canelo vs. Benavidez!!!

Bud doesnt have the power to keep canelo off him. Nor do i think he has youth on his side to literally box and move every minute of every round for 12 rounds and avoid canelo. Canelo will land and when he does he will be doing damage with every shot, eventually getting to crawford late on. Like he normally does his opponents

this all depends on how canelo is, when hes poor he blames his wrist or something (not saying he doesnt have injuries like everyone else) but hes definitely lost steps, it could be perfect timing for bud

canelo needs to manup and fight benny tho but i dont think he will

              Funny.

People here mostly think Bivol won't be able to take Beterbiev' power. They are the same size and Bivol is much younger.

But somehow I should believe Crawford can take Canelo's shots. They fght 3 divisions apart. Canelo is younger and Crawford has no experience fighting over 147.

              Lol this fanboyism..

It's clear nelos got a few fights lined up. So bud should keep busy and then fight Nel o, if buds up for it still, and Nel o is too.
Of course nelos favourite, but bud wants greatness

Just doesn't make any sense for Crawford to jump that high up in weight.

Fair points, but I question the efficacy of that extra muscle vs Crawford. In my mind the extra muscle serves to allow Canelo to grapple with larger fighters without getting bullied, but unless he plans to tire Crawford with a lot of clinch fighting I don't see it mattering as much here. Regardless, fun discussion and fun fight to think about!

Forgive me JakeTheBoxer , not sure how to multi quote properly.

bud is a really good fighter and hes not small fish either, i think he could even be close to 165 ibs on the night for canelo, i would only say this type of stuff for a proven top guy like bud is, i dont think he beats canelo but i would be interested in how well he could do if that was just the case, it would be a massive massive event given the two guys status

Canelo’s not some run of the mill fighter. He’s a fkn good fighter with an iron chin, 21 lbs of weight advantage, and tainted meat. Crawford would only be able to run.
