I'd prefer to see bud fight canelo than all the cross over MMA fights, African fights fury and gets himself in the top ten, what a joke.

You're being too generous with 160 limit. Floyd didn't even let him fight at 154 sww limit.

And regarding Mr Bobblehead prediction lets keep in mind....Bud aint Floyd.

Indeed. people are getting crazy with that historical revisionism.

Floyd beat Canelo at 152....so Crawford beats Canelo at 168. Lol.

No matter how great Floyd was, he would have lost to GGG at 160 really bad.

No matter how great Floyd was, if he was active today, coming up to 168 for Canelo, Canelo would kill him.

I have never been a fan of Canelo. ( he doesn't need me when he has the judges and refs) and all the catch weights and advantages he demanded especially early in his career.
But, the guy has an iron chin. I have never seen him hurt badly and seldom rocked.
I can't see Bud knocking him out and good luck getting a decision from bias judges.
Bivol beat him from bell to bell , round after round, and yet these laughingly called impartial judges had it ridiculously close..
Its a great payday but Crawford has a mountain to climb.

Alvarez has never KOd an elite fighter. Yes it is boxing, anything can happen. But Canelo has always been mostly smoke and mirrors with a boatload of hype.

Bud could lose, sure. But he'd come into the ring at a stout 170+, with far more skill than anyone Canelo has seen since Floyd. And it isn't just that Bud hits so hard. He figures guys out in a round or two and exposes any weakness.

Canelo won't fight him, he is almost certainly going to fight the othe Charlo for an easy W and then I see him fighting Berlanga or some other hype job who appears to be a threat, and then he will retire.
well this would be really bad, while your right people say Crawford does walk around at 180lbs he doesn't box for 12 rounds at 180lbs competitively, coming in this heavy for a fight with canelo at 168 and weighting in at 170+ on fight night would not be that smart. This will drain stamina and make you sluggish and slower which would play right into Canelo's Strengths.

If Crawford was going to do something like this and fight Canelo he would be better suited to take the same approach Manny did with his fight with Margarito and weigh in at about 160 on weight in and then rehydrate from there if that.

We are talking about jumping over 2 weight classes and big weight classes at that, keeping 21lbs on weight in and weighting in on fight night at possibly 25-28lbs over your normal fight weight. That is a big task to fight Canelo who is also 3 1/2 years younger than you and at that weight class for a first time fight.

Think about this also how long will it take Crawford to adjust to this new body that is around 28lbs heavier on fight night its not the same as walking around at 180lb and playing around with his friends or sparing we are talking about fight night where one miss calculation on timing could get you knocked.

Lets say it take .1 second to react for Crawford at the 147lbs weight class he's got that down and packed all day long without thought now you have to compensate for 25-28lbs more how long will it take for Crawford to react and move at 25-28lbs heavier ? what if its .2 seconds will Crawford be able to compensate and move with enough time all night long without thinking about adjusting every time he needs to react because it wont be normal instincts at that time or will he try and move with ,1 seconds and not be able to move that extra 25-28lbs fast enough ? will he be able to adjust in the heat of the moment will he know what is wrong at that time??

These are just little things that sometimes even trainers don't realize while training they just compensate for there fighters slower body and keep going with the motions. I'm not saying Crawford cant get up there but its definitely not as easy as saying oh Crawford walks around at 180lbs so he can go and fight canelo.

I mean if that was going to be the strategy (i walk around at 180lb there for i can ) for Crawford he's better off just going in at 147lb and fight canelo at 168lb at least all his timing and everything else will be optimal. ( not saying that's a good strategy either but its better than the he walk around at 180lb so he can.)

I think Bud would beat Canelo , especially this broken down version of Canelo
Bud is a big boy and walks around at 180
I see this being very possible
Yes I agree the added weight might slow him down some what but not to the point where that people are saying
I also believe he would carry some harder punch with the added weight
Now who the fugh has Canelo killed ?
People here talking that Canelo gonna kill him but I ask who has Canelo really dismantled to the point where we can say he was affected dearly by what Canelo did to him
And please don’t bring up boxers like Ryder who are ok but his wealth is being very tough and durable which is totally different from being an excellent boxer

It's funny. Where did Canelo start his career at? 147. Yeah he moved up over time. But he was cutting alot from the get go.

People saying it is too much for Bud. Do you know how Bud moves and fights at 170? He is skeletal at 147. Are you sure he hasn't sparred guys 170 and above?

Bud boxes his ears off. There is a chance Canelo hurts him, sure, as in any fight. But people are making too much out of the weight. Acting like Bud about to go to heavyweight and fight at 220 or something. Lol.

Bud ain't a Charlo. Canelo is a little hypejob weight bully. He won't fight Bud anyway. He knows.
