I see this being very possible
Yes I agree the added weight might slow him down some what but not to the point where that people are saying
I also believe he would carry some harder punch with the added weight
Now who the fugh has Canelo killed ?
People here talking that Canelo gonna kill him but I ask who has Canelo really dismantled to the point where we can say he was affected dearly by what Canelo did to him
And please don’t bring up boxers like Ryder who are ok but his wealth is being very tough and durable which is totally different from being an excellent boxer
If Bud is such a monster, than why was his last fight at 147?

Canelo will likely do to him the same he did to Khan at 160. I don`t believe Crawford takes these punches.

Crawford is not really big. If he was big, he would not be able to even make 147 still.

Crawford is willing to make this kind of jump, which is something canelo would never entertain. Any times he’s jumped a weight class, he’s compromised his opponents with catchweights/rehydration clauses. Of course he’s 100% unwilling to drop even a pound to face Crawford because he knows that size/weight is his only advantage over Crawford. Boxing wise canelo can’t do anything better than Crawford. Best bet is to face Benavidez because at least losing that fight wouldn’t damage your legacy as much as the potential of losing to a welterweight.

        I would bet on Crawford
First off , you are the one calling him a monster , I never said anything of that sort
Let’s look at it from another perspective , Canelo knows that Bud would entertain the idea of fighting him , so why hasn’t Canelo jumped on this idea we’ll aware that Canelo enjoys these little guys and riding the momentum of Bud’s name right now is a win win
But not a word from Canelo as shameless as he is

          Really good point.

Canelo on Charlo's: "Both great fighters, I am chasing greatness".

Canelo on Bud: "That fight does nothing for me."

Lol. Blatant inversion of reality. As they set up the ****** "now he is going in with the Charlo looking, for revenge" clownass story line. Will be the same damn fight. Both Charlo's are headcases and Canelo is throwing them paydays on their way out.

crawford outboxes him,the size difference isnt big enough to negate the difference in skill

Spence never really hit him, whats the most hes been hit maybe by Porter who dont hit like a 168 canelo. If 168 is so easy, bud could move up there to take one fight to adjust to the weight but we dont see that, it would be all or nothing because his team knows its a risk and wont do it except for a canelo pay day.
Crawford got rocked the hardest by the Lithuanian Mean Machine (should of been ruled a kd) when he was showboating and switching stances.

No, not even close. Crawford doesn't have the frame to go any higher than 147.

Crawford gets KO'ed at 154 let alone 168.

Canelo is a blown up 154, it's not much of a stretch for Crawford. They're the same height and Crawford has a longer reach. No one's saying Crawford would beat Benavidez.

Besides, Canelo fights at 168 because it makes weight cutting easier and his golden boy status and leverage allows him to choose the opponents and contracts. If he was forced to actually take on all contenders at his class he would be fighting 154-160 guaranteed.

And full filing his contract obligations
Not sure if Canelo stated that this fight does nothing for him but that’s like him saying he doesn’t want to fight Bivol at 168 his weight class , for pure fear he loses those belts
Same applies here , imagine Bud beating him ?

It's been over a decade since Canelo has fought as a Jr Middleweight, he's a full fledged Super Middleweight now. Just look at the guy's body structure, he's built like a tank.

Just doesn't make any sense for Crawford to jump that high up in weight.
