Mix Kambosos with Loma’s tears after the Haney fight and you get a fine Cherry kiafa type drink.

After losing against Lomachenko , Kambosos will most likely never get another seven figure fight , that's why Pauli is saying that he might as well retire. It makes sense to me , he's got millions in the bank , why risk his health if he doesn't need to any longer. Who wouldn't love to retire at thirty with millions in the bank. I'd travel around the world , go fishing, ride my motorcycle all over the planet.

He should retire if he can't beat Lomachenko and Haney? If that's the case nearly everyone under 147 should retire.
He probably deserved the L against Hughes but the guy beat Mickey Bey, Lee Selby, and Teofimo Lopez in three consecutive fights in their respective home countries as a road B-side underdog. He legitimately became the unified, lineal lightweight champion of the world. Show the guy some respect.

Kamboso should not retire but he’s going to deal with the fact that he is now the proverbial gate keeper at 135. He reminds of Zab Judah who still managed to get big fights and lost all of them.
I have a different take perhaps similar to yours. Kamboso struggles to make weight. If he moved to 140, he can get guys like Rolly or even Teo who are both belt holders but they bring no money to the table. Kamboso is huge in Australia so those two fights alone can generate upwards of $6 million per. And an almost guarantee championship status. Kamboso beats Rollie for sure. With Teo, it’s still a 50/50 fight.real raw likes this.

Naw, he doesn't have to retire. If he loses, he can rebuild at 140 vs a bum like Ryan Garcia and then cash out with a Teo rematch.

Won IBF 140 title, defended it 5 times successfully, lost in an undisputed unification to Kostya Tszyu
Won WBO 140 title, defended it once successfully, moved up to 147
Won undisputed 147 championship, defended it once successfully, got stripped of some belts, lost to Carlos Baldomir
Won IBF 140 title, lost in a unification with Amir Khan
Wins over Ward, Witter, Millett, Corley, Spinks, Matthysse, Mabuza. Losses to Tszyu, Spinks, Baldomir, Floyd, Cotto, Clottey, Khan, Malignaggi, Garcia.
Any fighter would be lucky to have a career like Zab's (minus the horrific final fight).

I did not meant to say Zab had a mediocre career. Zab had a great career without a doubt.
After losing to Cotto, Zab fought 15 times and lost to Khan, Malignaggi, Clottey and Danny Garcia. The rest of the guys he beat were all nobodies. Zab was 30 when he lost to Cotto. Kamboso is also 30 if I am not mistaken.
Kamboso is a huge star in Australia so he can still have a couple of huge paydays but I don’t think he beats any of the top guys (Tank & Shakur) but at 140, I believe he can beat Rolly, Ryan Garcia and Teo IF he can get them to fight him in Australia.
