I don’t know or care. Wallin was in the Top 10 when AJ fought him. It’s just as simple as that.
What matters is that he was ranked No2 by the IBF - one spot above AJ - and in position to fight for the vacant IBF title if the winner of Fury/Usyk gets stripped.

Oh well let's see what another Samoan thinks of the IBF and their trash belt.

      Calling Mr Opetaia...

Wallin didn't pass the eye test and did nothing to deserve being ranked top 10. He turned up in the desert to roll over and get shafted by fast eddie for a decent wad of cash.

Did anyone really think he was anything more than a big dumb southpaw sparring partner ?
He’d been in the Top 10 for while at that point, at least a year. Then he lost and was removed. Totally normal. Don’t see how that’s convenient in any way.

I mean, again all of that is just just you talking. The fact of the matter is Wallin was in the Top 10 when AJ beat him.

Turn it down cos he doesn't need it while other legit boxers do and fight for legacy to go down in history as an immortal of the sport.

You cant buy it, you're not born with it. You earn it and it is bestowed on you by others.

Lupesoliai La'auliolemalietoa isnt just a tongue twister for announcers to garble before a Mighty Oilskin bout.

And Anthony Joshua is ? Even he doesn't know...

Lupesoliai La'auliolemalietoa is an honorary title given to Parker by the Samoan government. Anthony Joshua also has an honorary title given to him by HM Queen Elizabeth: Member of the British Empire.

The Samoans were renown sailors and warriors, but not quite as good as the Brits in either respect, which is why Joe Parker has a British surname.

The guy who made Joseph Parker a former world champion.
