Canelo is the current Undisputed champion. Of course beating Canelo won't make Benavidez the greatest, but the victory must be worth SOMETHING. Canelo has a responsibility as champion and cash-cow to face top competition. I understand him being strategic about WHEN he'll face Benavidez, but there's no question that if he continues his career, Benavidez is probably the most logical opponent.
