I think they've hid him from top names for so long because they know he isn't elite level. Exciting yes, elite no. (of course he'd kick my ass haha)

hes not very good, his fight against dervychenko moving up in weight was a disaster. he also lost to some random guy named dennis hogan(charlo and tszyu easily ko'd him) he has a pretty good win against liam smith but for 6 years of showcasing him...thats a joke. they know they dont have a top level fighter just like tanks team know that about tank, if they can land the canelo fight then mission accomplished for them but waste of time for everyone else

Exactly.
Floyd Mayweather is a star despite being one of the most hated men around.
Vince McMahon is a star despite multiple lawsuits and claims of sexual impropriety.
Kobe Bryant remained a star up until his death despite allegations he ****d a white woman in Colorado.
Bill Cosby remains a star despite allegations he ****d over 37 women.
Chris Tucker remains a star despite admitting being on Weinstein's plane with Bill Clinton (who also remains a star).
Etc etc etc etc etc.
Being a star has nothing to do with being "liked".

And I never said he isn’t, I asked NSB what they think.
With all your hate for Bud Crawford and all your love for determining who is a star
Let’s not even talk about your closet case love for Spence
Your a star like Boots is a star , a guy who’s done nothing but call out a fighter when he has a fight obligation or walking away from a mando position only for then to be hailed a ducked fighter
Twinkle twinkle little star but seriously your my fughin hero
