I honestly don't know how to pick this one. Ugh. On the one hand, Munguia went life and death with Derevyanchenko, who was arguably robbed. And Munguia's inside game is horrendous. On the other, Ryder is a tough SOB who is not afraid to get deep in the pocket. I will play it safe and consider the location advantages, though I may change my pick at the last second. I need to see Ryder's demeanor before the bell.
Joseph, Munguia, Decision, Close
Still rooting for Ryder to derail the hype.
Who will make money for the promoters after this fight?
How old is Ryder and how old is Mungia? I need to consider these factors, as well as who is the more shopworn fighter. I think Ryder is definitely good enough to pull off the upset but it depends on all the factors.
If Ryder pulls off the upset, then we can honestly say that even after 42 fights, Oscar moved Jaime too fast.
