Tim said he's done fighting in Australia and is fighting Sometime Thurman in Vegas in two months. Bud is just SOL for waiting so long on Earl.

props to Teo IF he's really serious about fighting TC... but who is he kidding? he'll get mopped up by TC. Teo is too small. it will be a blowout. 12-0 or KO/TKO for TC.

        Legalities force him to wait

Since you used “a young upcoming Spence who worked his way up like Crawford” as a measuring barometer, let’s have a look at the last 5 guys he fought before “earning” a shot at Brook
          1. Leonard Bungu
          2. Chris Algieri
          3. Alejandro Barrera
          4. Chris Van Heerden
          5. Phil LoGreco

Spence was 27 years old when he got his shot at Brook.

Now let’s look at Boots last 5 opponents
          1. Villa
          2. Karen C
          3. Custio Clayton
          4. Thomas Duloe
          5. Sergei Lipiners
          6. Chris Van Heerden (same guy Spence beat 4 years earlier)

Boots will be 27 IF he gets his shot at Bud AND has exactly the same resume as Spence at the same age so why should he still “fight other nondescript guys to earn his shot”?

I am not saying Boots will beat Bud. He deserves a shot.

Brook could have chased other fighters and made more money but he gave Spence a shot. Credit to him for that.
Yeah, perhaps Boots has done enough to warrant the matchup. I just think it's ultimately up to Crawford to decide if he wants to give Boots that shot or not. I would respect his decision either way whether he goes with Boots or decides to chase some more clout in higher weight classes.

How old was Brook when he faced Errol? I'm not saying age entirely matters, but perhaps Brook had more time to pick himself up from a loss to Errol if he took it. I'm not sure Crawford has the same time to afford if he loses to his next opponent to immediately bring himself back into a mega matchup afterwards that he can win.

Also, Bud's last pay per view sold nearly 1 million buys vs Spence.
Teo's established, he's already beaten the best 135lber Lomachenko, the best 140lber Taylor and Bud has beaten the best 147lber Spence. Teo vs Bud sells.

Boot's, as of yet, has done nothing. Bud vs Boots doesn't sell.

I don't see it happening, even though I'd like to see it. Unles Teoloco can bring boatloads of cash. , I can't imagine Crawford taking the fight. There's really no upside to it for Crawford other than financial. If he wins , he was supposed to , if he loses of looks bad winning , it's catastrophic, or at minimum ,damaging.
On a side note , Crawford needs to do something soon , he's squandering the momentum in his career that he gained in the Spence fight . He ought to go ahead and fight Boots , it's the most realistic fight that fans want to see him in. Canelo vs Crawford is just a pipe dream .

Teoloco is just looking for attention , trying to get people interested in his next fight , that's all. He knows that,he's not fighting Crawford.

Soo not true Please send the link with that discussion
                  FYI
Crawford is more interested in a Canelo Fight or a Money fight in a higher weight class
I agree. He's interested in any big fight that is going to make him a boat load of money like the first Spence fight did. I am not saying that it's the sole reason why he is still at welterweight but it is at least one factor.

He even admitted so himself on the "Breakfast Club" after the Spence fight. When he said he absolutely refuses to fight Jaron "Boots" Ennis. Now c'mon! You and I both know that Teo is nowhere near the Box office Draw that Spence and Gervonta Davis are.

So, if Teo really wants the fight with Crawford then tell him to come up with $30 Mil then. Seriously dude, because if it doesn't make enough dollars then it doesn't make sense.

I agree and neither does Teo vs Bud would sell either! You see things differently because you are a boxing fan but the average Joe doesn't or hardly even knows who this cat Teofimo Lopez is.
